What is a "Gap" Program?
A Gap Program with Shecana is for graduated students’ ages 17 to 25 years old. Right after high school you can choose to take an extra 3, 5 or 10 months and go on a High School Exchange or you can choose a Gap Program. With Shecana’s Gap Programs you can travel to England, Germany, Brazil or New Zealand.
Our gap-year programs are designed for graduating high school stud dents who want to see the world as they take a break before entering post secondary education or a career. You can decide if you want to work, or do a cultural experience. With Shecana you have the option of a short stay or an extended period (3 weeks up to 2 years). A gap-year program allows you to enter a pre-arranged, and safe situation with support through out your stay, and gives you the freedom to travel and live independently. A gap-year program will give you the opportunity to have new experiences, broaden your horizons, become accustom to travel, learn about other countries and cultures, make new friends and have an amazing adventure!
Join us for an online meeting, which will provide you with information on what a gap year could be like. And, of course, Shecana is with you all the way - before, during and after your time abroad. Welcome! |
